Historical Japanese photograph of the ritual mask of Bishamonten (Vaisravana) from Tō-ji Temple (Kyōōgokoku-ji) in Kyoto. The mask belongs to a set representing the Twelve Devas, used in Buddhist processions during religious initiation ceremonies.
