Okabe: Mount Utsu and the Ivy-Covered Narrow Road

Sheet No. 22 from Gojūsan tsugi meisho zue - Famous Sights of the Fifty-three Stations, commonly known as the Vertical Tokaido.

The print bears the series title and sheet number, the station name Okabe, and the view title Mount Utsu / Ivy-Covered Narrow Road.

Signed Hiroshige hitsu.

Aratame censor seal and Hare 7 date seal, corresponding to the seventh month of Ansei 2, 1855.

The original edition of this design dates to 1855.
