Japanese hanging scroll from the first half of the 20th century, Taishō to early Shōwa period. Ink and color on silk.
Signed Seppō and bearing three red artist seals. The painting is attributed to the Japanese painter and calligrapher Watanabe Seppō.
Traditional textile mounting with decorative brocade bands. The lower roller is finished with traditional turned wooden end knobs.

Approximately 54 × 200 cm.
Condition
Good antique condition. Age-related toning, localized staining, minor surface marks and creases. Traces of age and storage to the textile mounting and hanging straps.
