Vintage Japanese shikishi scroll from the late Showa period.
This is a fabric hanging scroll designed for displaying a Japanese shikishi board. The central area has thread attachment points for securing the shikishi. The scroll is fitted with a cord hanger and lower roller bar.
Shikishi board is not included.
Period: late Showa period.
