Original Japanese shikishi with an inu hariko motif - a traditional papier-mâché dog associated with protection, good fortune, and auspicious symbolism. Ink and color on shikishi board.
The composition combines the dog figure with a flowering plum branch, a seasonal motif often used in Japanese decorative painting. By style and materials, this work belongs to the Taisho-Showa line, most probably Showa period. Signature and red seal are present.
