Vintage Japanese shikishi with a small genre composition, created in the Shōwa period.
The work is painted on shikishi board with a gold-toned ground.
The image is rendered with traditional pigments and white highlights, using controlled and confident brushwork typical of decorative and genre painting of the period.
An artist’s signature and seals are preserved on the right side.
Condition
Good vintage condition. Vintage works may show natural signs of age (toning, small creases, minor corner wear), so please review the photos carefully.
