Japanese painting on shikishi with a crab beside a curved stem. The work is executed in ink with light color accents on a thick square shikishi board.
Period: postwar Showa period, second half of the 20th century.
The shikishi bears an artist’s signature and a red seal. The artist has not been securely identified, so the work is offered as unattributed.
Condition
Vintage condition. Natural signs of age may be present, including light toning of the board, minor fiber creases, and soft wear along the edges. Please review the photos carefully.
