“Nishinomiya Daijingū” (“Great Shrine of Nishinomiya”)
Authentic Japanese shrine ofuda (protective talisman woodblock print).
This is a shrine-issued ofuda, originally distributed as a protective amulet for the home or a small business. The print depicts Ebisu, a Shinto deity associated with good fortune, trade, and prosperity. He is shown holding a fishing rod and a sea bream (tai), traditional symbols of an abundant catch and thriving commerce.
A large red shrine seal is stamped on the sheet, confirming official shrine distribution.
Period: Meiji to Taisho (antique).
Technique: woodblock print with red shrine seal.
Condition: Antique condition. Antique works may show natural signs of age (toning, small creases, minor corner wear), so please review the photos carefully.
