Set of four original Japanese illustrated postcards from the early 20th century, unified by imagery associated with Daikoku and Ebisu, as well as closely related folkloric scenes.

Daikoku is traditionally connected with wealth, prosperity, and household abundance, often depicted in contexts related to money or commerce.
Ebisu symbolizes good fortune, well-being, and honest labor, most recognizably represented with a large sea bream (tai), a long-standing emblem of auspicious luck.

The remaining postcards complement this symbolic circle with genre and allegorical scenes linked to ideas of prosperity, harmony, and good fortune.
All postcards were printed in Japan for domestic and international postal use. The card stock features embossed (congretive) relief, clearly perceptible on the reverse, a decorative technique characteristic of postcards from this period.

Condition:
Antique condition. Some postcards show gentle signs of age, including light surface wear, small edge creases, or localized paper irregularities. These features are consistent with age and do not detract from the overall visual impression. Please review the photos carefully.
