A small vintage Japanese shikishi from the mid Shōwa period, created with ink on traditional shikishi board. The text is written in the manner of a brief poetic note, characteristic of personal calligraphic expressions and gift-format works of the time. The brushwork is free and fluid, preserving the immediacy of a single gesture.
The shikishi is presented in its original folding mount. Owner’s notes remain on the inner board as part of its history and are not related to the composition.
Vintage condition with natural signs of age.
