A serene Japanese hanging scroll painted on silk, depicting a peaceful countryside scene with thatched houses beneath Mount Fuji. Executed in soft ink and light mineral colors typical of late Shōwa nihonga style. The vertical composition leads the eye from the reflective water to trees and misty slopes, ending with the snow-covered peak of Fuji — a classic symbol of harmony and endurance in Japanese art.

Mounted in traditional fabric borders with patterned brocade and golden top section, preserving the warm tone balance between painting and mounting.
