Traditional Japanese hanging scroll depicting a mountain landscape with thatched houses among pine trees, a wooden bridge over a stream, and mist-covered peaks in the background. Painted in ink and color on silk, in the spirit of the sansui-ga (landscape) tradition. The brushwork and balanced green and ochre tones convey a calm atmosphere typical of late Shōwa nihonga painting.

Mounting: golden patterned silk brocade (kinran)
Period: Shōwa (ca. 1960-70s)

Condition: good vintage condition; minimal natural traces of time, well-preserved surface.
