Ink-and-wash study of a horse shown with its head lowered, executed in a free suibokuga manner. Broad sumi strokes and a light warm wash define the form with minimal detailing, characteristic of Shōwa-period studio practice. A signature and a square artist’s seal appear above the figure.

Condition: vintage condition; natural age toning, small age spots and light surface handling, preserved surface, no restoration.
