Vintage Japanese double-sided shikishi with two ink-and-wash horse studies, created in the early–mid Shōwa period.
One side shows a turning horse with warm washes and soft outlining; the reverse side contains a monochrome sumi study with a simplified, calligraphic movement. Both drawings reflect academic studio practice of the Shōwa era, focusing on gesture, posture and economy of line.
No seals on either side; signature absent or illegible.
Original shikishi board with natural age toning.

Condition: good vintage condition; natural age toning, light foxing, small edge wear, preserved surface, no restoration.
