A rare antique Shintō talisman (ofuda) printed in bold black lines on exceptionally thin handmade washi.
The header reads — Kotoshironushi no Mikoto, a classical name closely associated with Ebisu, the god of prosperity, trade, and fishing. The faint mirrored text visible on the reverse is the natural show-through of the thin, unsized washi used for this early print.
