Vintage Shōwa Japanese watercolor shikishi – pink rose

A vintage shikishi from the mid-Shōwa period. The work features a pink rose painted in watercolor/gouache with soft tonal transitions and careful detailing of the leaves. The background consists of repeating calligraphic strokes applied as a decorative layer. A studio seal is placed in the lower part, typical for mid-20th-century works.
