This is a Japanese shikishi painted in ink, showing a quiet mountain landscape with a tall peak, scattered trees and a small house near the slope. The composition follows the suiboku tradition, using soft washes, dry-brush texture and open space to suggest mist and distance. A signature with a red seal is placed in the lower left corner.

Brushwork and composition reflect Shōwa-period landscape practice, with emphasis on atmospheric space, asymmetrical balance and subtle ink gradation.
