Elegant fan-shaped calligraphy with the classic Zen phrase “Meigetsu Seifū” – Bright Moon and Pure Wind. This phrase symbolizes a calm, awakened state of mind, often used in Zen poetry and kōans.
Executed by Japanese calligrapher Kinshō Kōshi (金松光史), a Shōwa-period artist working in the tradition of bunjin-ga and Zen shodō. Three red seals (one personal, one decorative, one of artistic school) accompany the powerful brushwork.
