This is an original Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print triptych by Utagawa Kunisada I (Toyokuni III), signed 香蝶楼 豊国画 (Kōchōrō Toyokuni ga) — one of the most prolific and beloved artists of 19th-century Japan.

Title of the series: “花鳥風月之内 島” (Kachō Fūgetsu no Uchi — Shima)
“Within Flowers, Birds, Wind, and Moon: Island” — a poetic theme celebrating the beauty of nature and seasonal change.
This three-panel print features an elegant gathering of courtly women, luxurious kimono patterns, birdcages, and blooming cherry blossoms set against a serene river and garden backdrop.

Artist: Utagawa Kunisada I (Toyokuni III) — signed 香蝶楼 豊国画
Era: Circa 1851–1863 (late Edo Period), based on the censor’s zodiac seal (Usagi, Rabbit).
Technique: Multi-color woodblock print (nishiki-e).
Condition: Antique condition with signs of age — slight foxing, minor edge wear, vivid colors.
