A Japanese ink shikishi from the early–mid Shōwa period. The work depicts bamboo in traditional monochrome brush technique. Executed with confident strokes typical of mid-20th-century sumi practice. The piece includes an artist’s signature and two seals. Mounted on a classic shikishi board with a thin golden border characteristic of the Shōwa era.
