A vintage ink-and-color painting from the Shōwa period, depicting a stylised kabuki actor in firm, graphic lines and theatrical costume elements. The portrait uses the expressive visual language of kabuki roles: defined facial accents, structured headgear and sharply outlined features. The original painted sheet was later decoratively mounted on a gold shikishi board in a workshop, giving the work a stable presentation format and highlighting the theatrical theme.
