Vintage Japanese shikishi with a red bamboo motif, painted in ink and pigment in a decorative early–mid Shōwa-period manner. The composition is based on layered translucent and solid brushstrokes, with an emphasis on rhythm and open space. The reverse side shows a small pencil sketch.

Decorative suiboku approach with red pigment accents.
