Sorry, this item has sold.

A delicate Japanese shikishi (色紙) depicting two lively shrimps, painted with expressive brushstrokes and subtle mineral pigments. Signed 竹笑 (Chikushō) – “Laughing Bamboo” – and sealed with the matching red hanko.
The work belongs to the kachō-ga tradition and reflects the Shijō school influence: spontaneous yet refined, capturing the essence of nature with a few elegant lines.

Painted on traditional shikishi board with a gold border (24×27 cm), this piece dates to the late Shōwa–early Heisei era (1970s–1990s).
A fine collectible for lovers of Japanese art, perfect for framing or display.
