Heart Sutra (般若心経) — Temple Calligraphy Scroll
Japan, early–mid Shōwa period (c. 1935–1955)
Ink and cinnabar seals on washi paper, silk mounting
Probably executed by Okamoto Keigyō (岡本慶業)

Translation (accurate): “The Heart Sutra of Great Perfect Wisdom.”
A temple-style calligraphy scroll dedicated to the Hannya Shingyō.
The two large cinnabar seals contain the complete sutra text engraved in tensho micro-script — a sacred visual form used for meditation and blessing.
Such works represent the unity of form and emptiness, embodying the essence of Zen and Shingon practice.

Good for its age; with natural wear and marks of time.
