A calligraphy hanging scroll presenting a fragment from “Memorial on the Expedition” (出師表) by Zhuge Liang (諸葛亮, 181–234).
This classical Confucian text is among the most respected works in Chinese literature, expressing the ideals of loyalty, duty, and moral responsibility.

Written in formal kaishu script, arranged in balanced vertical columns typical of Chinese tiaofu (条幅) format.
Signed Wukong (悟空 – “Awakened to Emptiness”).
Seals read Li Shugong in (李淑公印), Shushi in (淑師印), and Xin Yue (心悦) — carved in Chinese style of the late Qing to early Republican period.

Executed in ink on xuanzhi (宣紙) paper with natural patina, light stains, and traces of time, preserved without restoration.
The work was likely created in China around 1880–1920 and later mounted in Japanese kakejiku format.
Authentic condition, showing respectful aging of materials.
